Located on the tip of the Black Isle peninsula, Cromarty is situated 22 miles north east of Inverness, on the most northerly british towns. With much of the development of the town being in the early 18th century and now unspoilt by modern architecture a real sense of history and tranquillity surrounds this idyllic spot. With the development of better road, rail and air links Fisherman's Cottage, located in the old part of the fishers town, is an ideal base to explore the Black Isle and the Highlands.

Fisherman's Cottage, originally 2 cottages built in 1775, now a listed building, retains much of its original design and features and has been fully modernised in the Summer of 2007 to the highest of standards. This well equipped property, sleeping up to 5 people, has one double bedroom, with en suite shower room and one family  bedroom, with double and single beds, on the upper floor and a modern fully fitted kitchen, living room and bathroom on the ground floor.

The Kitchen - cooker, microwave, fridge, dishwasher, washing machine, kettle, toaster, all the pots and pans, crockery, cutlery and glasses you'll need with a pine table and chairs to seat four.

The Living room - 2 seat settee with 2 easy chairs, TV, DVD player, CD player with radio and a wood burning stove (basket of logs and firelighters supplied). Furnished and decorated to maintain the character of the building whilst ensuring a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere.

All linen for four people (bedding and towels) is supplied included in the price. All beds will be made up and a welcome pack of tea, coffee, fresh milk, a bottle of wine and shortbread will be waiting for you upon arrival so you can start enjoying your holiday as soon as you arrive.

Electricity is metered and the amount used will be deducted from your retainer. Heating throughout the cottage is with economy 7 storeage heaters. The meter will be read on arrival and departure.

A deposit of £100 per week is requested in advance together with a retainer of £40. The balance is payable 6 weeks prior to the commencement of your holiday (or by arrangement for short notice bookings)
Bookings are from Saturday 4pm to Saturday 9-30am
Parking space for 1 car is close to the cottage - additional parking space is at the end of the road.

Well behaved pets are welcome.
